2005-Design and Assemble a Custom Blanket

Genevieve Belmaker
Halstead House
Everyone needs at least one blanket that's just their size, style and thickness. Take a brief but immersive creative journey to learn how to combine different types of fabric to design the front and back of your custom-sized personal blanket. Then, with expert support and guidance, decide how much 80/20 cotton/poly batting you need to make it just the right thickness and warmth. Every student will leave class with a fully-made-ready-to sew blanket and instructions on how to complete at home. The class will include a live opening of a deadstock mystery fabric box with bonus fabric pieces to take home.
