2005-Upcycle Fabrication to Create a Personal Snuggle Blanket

Learn how to design and create a dazzling cotton-dominant personal snuggle blanket for you or a loved one from the ashes of lengths of fabric used for other projects and 80/20 cotton/poly batting. Utilizing a combination of new fabric with smaller fabric pieces, scraps, and upcycled materials (like denim); the fabrication approach creates truly unique, beautiful blanket designs that are also sustainable. Every student will leave the class with the start of a project with a pattern designed, cut and pinned by them.
Kit Fee: $25

Kit Includes: Kit includes a wide variety of fabric options and premium 80/20 cotton/poly batting.

Student Provides: Basic sewing supplies - scissors (fabric & paper), pins, seam ripper, chalk, seam gauge, ruler, measuring tape, sewing needles, etc, Clips

Experience Level: Beginner- No prior knowledge or skills required
