2019-Flat Patterning and Draping for Waistbands

Have you ever wondered how to pattern the perfect curve for a waistband? One that's to YOUR measurements and will lay just right? Well now you won't have to wonder! This class teaches two different ways to pattern a waistband. Students will first learn how to decide where your desired waistband should hit, based on your desired finished garment design. You will then learn what measurements to take and how to use both draping and flat patterning techniques to convert those measurements into your perfect waistband! Pattern paper and pre-blocked muslin are included in the kit fee. Please see the student supply list for other basic pattering supplies to bring.
