Let’s create collage landscapes with fabric! Learn how to create your own fabric landscape using applique embroidery with fiber artist and author Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ. This hands-on workshop will cover how to pair fabrics to create your own unique landscapes, basic applique and beginner-friendly embroidery stitches like the running stitch, satin stitch, chain stitch, and fly stitch. Each participant will receive a full class kit that includes an embroidery hoop, cotton fabrics, full skeins of embroidery thread, embroidery needle, sewing pins, backing materials, and printed instructions.

Kit Fee - $15
Kit Includes - Your choice of a beechwood embroidery hoop, assorted fabrics, assorted full skeins of DMC embroidery thread, an embroidery needle, and printed instructions.
Student needs to provide - Basic sewing supplies - usually scissors (fabric & paper), pins, seam ripper, chalk, seam gauge, ruler, measuring tape, sewing needles, etc.
Admittance ticket to the Sewing & Stitchery Expo is required to attend this class.
